Oct. 23

2:11 p.m. - Jacqueline Marie Barton, 28, of Winona was referred to the Winona County Attorney's Office to review for possible charges. Barton cashed two checks worth $350 each from someone else's account.

Oct. 28

3:10 p.m. - Police referred a 17-year-old boy from Arcadia, Wis., to the Winona County Attorney's Office for possible charges of financial transaction card fraud and theft. An 18-year-old woman reported several unauthorized transactions on her debit card, totalling $960.

Tuesday

8 p.m. - Chase Edward Colstad, 24, of Winona was cited for shoplifting after he stole an "Underworld Trilogy" DVD set worth about $60 from Walmart, 955 Frontenac Drive.

Wednesday

2:22 p.m. - Fayrene Renay Deering, 40, of Rollingstone, Minn., and Sharon Arlene Kerr, 61, of Plainview, Minn., were both cited for shoplifting from Kmart, 1122 W. Hwy. 61, after they stole two DVDs.

9:11 p.m. - Chase Edward Colstad, 24, of Winona and a 17-year-old girl were both cited for shoplifting after they stole about $180 worth of items from Walmart.

Thursday

7:39 a.m. - Megan Marie Gephart, 22, of La Crosse, Wis., was cited for inattentive driving, after she ran into a parked car in the 160 block of East Mark Street while adjusting the fan in her car.

Friday

1:20 a.m. - Jacob Joseph Sherey, 20, of Winona was cited for underage drinking. Police received a report from a caller in the 300 block of Harriet Street that someone tried to break into a residence. Sherey ran when police arrived, but was caught.

4:15 a.m. - Edward Charles Palm, 18, of Winona and Jordan Thomas Huel, 18, of Winona were cited for underage drinking. Winona State University security officers observed two men steal a handicap sign from the Washington Crossings apartment building, 166 W. Broadway St. Security detained the two men, and police officers made them return the sign.

Thursday

11:44 p.m. - Deputies responded to the Stockton Valley Saloon, 8200 E. Main St., Stockton, Minn., for a report of a fight. Mark Allen Schultz, 26, of Winona and Jesse Allen Todd Williams, 24, of Winona were cited with disorderly conduct.
