A Dan Wieczorek benefit dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., April 13, at the Curling Club in Centerville, Wis. Tickets are $10 and silent auctions will be held. Non-ticket holders will be admitted after 7 p.m. for other auctions and drawings.
Raffle tickets are being sold for $5 each or 3 for $10. Prizes include a trip for four to Brainerd, Minn., to fish with the crew of Babe Winkelman Productions and have Saturday night dinner at Winkelman's home. Other raffle prizes include a six-hour charter fishing trip for four to Lake Superior out of Port Wing, Wis., a weekend stay at Flying Eagle Resort in Delta, Wis., cash prizes and outdoors gear.
Tickets can be purchased at West End Bait in Winona, Schafer's Boat Livery in Onalaska, Larry's Landing/Hungry Point in Trempealeau, the Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department in Whitehall, and at many Arcadia area businesses. Dan is the son of Robert Wieczorek of Winona and Lois Carhart of Galesville. He has two older brothers, John and Bob, and two older sisters, Stephanie Nelson and Sheryl Brunner. Dan has a 3-year-old son, Devin. He attended Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau High School and Western Wisconsin Technical College.
