LA CROSSE, Wis. - Erma H. (Borck) Senn, 90, of La Crosse died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at St. Joseph's Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Nov. 10, 1918, in Houston County, Minn., to Henry and Harriet (Neu) Borck. She married Willard Senn on Sept. 15, 1937, in Decorah, Iowa.

Erma had worked at the La Crosse Garment Co. for several years. Erma and Willard spent many summers traveling, fishing and camping out. She was an avid card player, an activity she enjoyed into her 90th year. Erma and Willard were active members of the La Crosse Eagles Club Aerie 1254, where they had many friends and spent time together. They were also members of St. John's United Church of Christ in La Crosse.

Erma is survived by two sons, LaVern "Ken" (Patricia) Senn of La Crescent, Wis., and Dennis Senn of Lancaster, Pa.; two grandsons, Michael (Diane) Senn of Onalaska, Wis., and Kevin (Katie) Senn of Leawood, Kan.; five great-grandchildren and several nephews and one niece.

She was preceded in death by her husband Willard; her parents; two sons, DuWayne, who died in 1950 in a drowning accident at age 11, and LeRoy, who died in 2008; a daughter-in-law Gerrie; a brother, Alvin; and several brothers and sisters-in-law.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crosse. The Rev. Kent Meyer and John Parkyn will officiate. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in Mount Hope Cemetery in Hokah, Minn. Friends may call at 10 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.

The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to St. Joseph's Rehabilitation Center, where Erma received wonderful care during her final years. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Joseph's Rehabilitation Center.
