9:15 p.m. — Police were called to 226 E. Third St. on a report of possible trespassers in an abandoned portion of a building. Officers discovered a mattress, three backpacks, a knife, drug paraphernalia and other “junk,” heard noises coming from the roof and ordered the people up there to come down. After 20 minutes, Alanson Dale Bingold, 18, of Minnesota City, Jeremiah Walter hall, 18, of Winona and a 16-year-old Winona boy appeared and were cited for trespassing. The boy had also been reported as a runaway.
