This same criticism was published twice this summer by Galewski. According to this logic, we should have only millionaires that can take a year without pay to campaign for Congress.
There is an inordinate number of millionaires in Congress compared to the population at large, and I don’t think this has been beneficial. Although I don’t vote based on someone’s personal finances, if anything, the fact that Tim Walz faces many of the same issues as middle class America would seem to me a positive attribute.
If you are truly dissatisfied by the service he has given our district in the last 1 1/2 years, please try to find something specific in that to criticize. I personally find that difficult to do as he as shown himself to be an experienced supporter of public education, a listener to the rural and town residents, and a strong supporter of our troops and veterans with benefits, aid and equipment while also questioning the president’s policies of war.
