Do the right thing

Summer is finally here. It looks like the weather has finally shown us the sun is here to stay. So, now that you are in more of a summer routine and the weather is better, I have a favor to ask of all of you.

The Winona Area Humane Society is overflowing with animals. Please consider visiting us and applying to adopt some of our wonderful animals. We have every age, color and personality of cats and a variety of dogs to choose from right now. If you have other animals, consider a playmate. We work very hard with you to match personalities for cats and will do a meet-and-greet” for dogs with one already in the home before they are adopted.
Please consider adopting an animal from the Humane Society. These animals will give you a lifetime of love with little asked in return. It has also been proven that contact with domestic animals can prevent illness. Will you be able to say no when you look into the animals eyes or will you give an animal a forever home that they are longing for when you visit?

Our fees of $85 for a cat and $100 for a dog include a spay or neuter, distemper and rabies shots, worming and other tests for cats.

I really hope to see you soon as you come to visit and adopt from us and make your life richer and fuller by allowing an animal into your home and heart.
