Always a Winhawk

The Winona High School Class of 1973 reunion committee would like to thank all of the classmates who attended our 35th Hawaiian luau weekend. We had classmates travel from Alaska, Texas, Washington, Washington, D.C., Colorado and many other states to reunite with old friends.

A special thank you goes to the following people — Steak Shop Catering (Daryl, Butch and Sabrina) who created a Hawaiian themed feast. The Polish Heritage Society (Jerry Langowski and his wife Ceil) who worked with us on the rental and the helping hand they gave us the day of the reunion.

Classmate Don Harvey who serenaded us during happy hour with his wonderful voice and great sounds. DJ Sound and Lights (Arnie and Glenda Jackson) for their flexibility and great music.

Also, thank you to the classmates who couldn’t make it, that still sent in their contributions to help out.

I would personally like to thank the reunion committee, Rick Hauser, Debbie (Smith) Sauer, Wendy (Ehlers) Schneider and Rita (Will) Jessen, who, with their ideas and hard work, created a great and memorable reunion.

Everyone enjoyed themselves so much that we have had requests not to wait five years for another reunion. You never know classmates, we might surprise you!
