Thanks for the sesquicentennial event

I wish to thank Bob Bambenek, the Winona County recorder and his staff for the Sesquicentennial Recognition program at the Winona County Fair this year.

More than 150 groups who have been a part of Winona’s history for more than 150 years were honored. My father, Gene Pelowski Sr., could not attend the event, but was thrilled at receiving the Sesquicentennial Certificate for the Pelowski family. It was an honor to have participated in the event as state representative from Winona.

To all those who worked on the program, thank you for making the 2008 Winona County Fair a memorable experience.
