Published - Saturday, August 02, 2008 Wesley Clark was right With all the attention these days given to drought, floods and wildfires, this is a good time to remind people that Congress commissioned a report on the effects that global warming was having in the country right now. This report was completed in 2004. However, it took a court order in May of this year to force President Bush to release it. This incident is the most recent example of why another Republican president would be a disaster. Bush is not smart enough to do on his own all the things he has done to harm this country and the rest of the world. No Republican president would be able to separate himself from the influence and power of the major players in the Republican Party. Even though John McCain seems to be a good person and has shown extreme courage, he has had no experience in making executive decisions, neither in the military nor anywhere else. Gen. Wesley Clark was right.
