Barry | Norven Lockwood Robert ‘Rob’ Royal Kingsley Jan. 9, 1917 — July 30, 2008 RUSHFORD, Minn. — Robert “Rob” Royal Kingsley, 91, of Rushford died Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Rushford. Rob was born Jan. 9, 1917, to Roy and Clara (Hennessey) Kingsley in Cory Valley near Money Creek, Minn. He was united in marriage to Henrietta Vitse on Nov. 15, 1939. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Rushford. Rob and Henrietta farmed for many years on Vinegar Hill. In 1965, they moved to Rushford. He was employed at Botsford Lumber Co., Hart Farm Service, the Farmers Elevator and worked as a part-time bartender at the VFW in Rushford. Rob is survived by his children, Robert (Lois) of Rushford, Kenneth (Carol) of Peterson, Minn., Allen (Carol) of Faribault, Minn., and Merry (Derek) Berg of Rushford; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles (Marge) of St. Charles, Minn., and Donald (Rita) of Rochester, Minn.; sister, Bette Heim of St. Charles; aunt, Helen Kingsley of Rushford; and by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; grandson, John Bublitz; and sisters, Dorothy Michel, Ruth Stockfleth, Rita Vigness and Marjorie Henderson. In celebration of his life, a funeral Mass will be held Saturday, Aug. 2, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Rushford, with the Rev. Joseph Pete officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Rushford. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the church. Feller, 89, of Houston, Minn., died Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at Speltz Homes Plus in Lewiston. Fern was born March 22, 1919, in Houston County, to Edward and Cora (Wold) Paulson. In July 1937, Fern married John Feller in Looney Valley. He passed away in December 1998. Together, they made their home in the Ridgeway area. Fern went to work after their daughter married. She worked for 20 years at the Winona Knitting Mill. She was a member of the Looney Valley Lutheran Church in Houston, and was very active in the WELCA, Homemakers Club, Garden Club, Birthday Club, and volunteered at Valley View Nursing Home after retirement. Fern was an avid sewer. She made over 700 quilts and never missed coffee. Survivors include her daughter, Sherril (Floyd) Pierce of St. Charles, Minn.; four grandchildren, Michael (Lori) Pierce of Dover, Minn., Bonnie (Greg) Nelson of Tenstrike, Minn., Betty (Robert) Simon of St. Charles, and Violet Thulien of Glencoe, Minn.; seven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brother, Berton (Ione) Paulson of Houston; sister, Valerie Wagner of Spring Grove, Minn.; many nieces, nephews and friends. Fern was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; grandson, Roger; five sisters; and one brother. The funeral service for Fern will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008, at Looney Valley Lutheran Church in rural Houston, with the Rev. Jeff Forbes officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Creek Cemetery in rural Houston. Kleinschmidt, 95, of Winona died Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at her home. Cecelia was born July 15, 1913, in Centerville, Wis., to Sherman and Kathryn (Malesyctki) Kiedrowski. On Sept. 19, 1939, she married Ambrose J. Kleinschmidt at Sacred Heart Church in Pine Creek, Wis. She was a member of St. Casimir’s Church. Cecilia was a sewer for 18 years at Winona Northwest Glove Factory. She enjoyed quilting, baking, gardening and all other aspects of housekeeping. Cecelia is survived by her sister, Marie Williamson of Winona; nieces and nephews; as well as other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ambrose; her parents; sisters, Gertrude Barnholtz, Bernadine Konkel, Leona Styba and Helen Kiedrowski; and brothers, Harry Kiedrowski and Florian Kiedrowski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Casimir’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Richard Colletti will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Crown will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Home in Rochester, with the Rev. Carol Schafer officiating. Haine Crown, 60, died July 30, 2008, at her residence in Rochester. Haine was born Nov. 21, 1947, in Manhattan Beach, Calif., to Keith and Helen (Talle) Crown. She married Terence Adrian Gresser on July 2, 1982, in Silver Springs, Md. She graduated from the University of Maryland with an art degree, and later attended George Washington University for her master’s degree in art therapy. She taught art for the Maryland public school system until she moved to Winona in 1986. There, she taught art therapy at the College of St. Theresa until it closed. Later, she became an administrator at Bluffview Montessori School in Winona. Haine moved to Rochester in 1993 and taught workshops at Mayo Clinic in art therapy. She also taught courses for the nursing program at the University Center in Rochester. In her free time, she was a French bulldog breeder, an artist and a painter. Haine is survived by her husband, Terry Gresser; her father, Keith (Pat) Crown of Columbia, Mo.; three daughters, Megan (Ben) Grommes of Arden Hills, Minn., Daniela Gresser of Rochester, and Anna Gresser of Rochester; and one son, Taylor (Jessica Stinocher) Gresser of Roseville, Minn. She is also survived by two sisters; Patty (Chip Wills) Crown of Albuquerque, N.M., and Katie (Guy) Webster of Pasadena, Calif.; and two granddaughters, Ruth and Lillian Grommes. Barry RUSHFORD, Minn. — Michael S. Barry, 63, of Rushford died Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at his home. Memorial service at 2 p.m. Monday at Hoff Funeral Homes-Rushford Chapel. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Norven Lockwood GOODVIEW, Minn. — Norven Lockwood, 68, of Goodview, died Thursday, July 31, 2008, at his home.
