July 13

1:38 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute in the 650 block of East Third Street. Nathan Irvin Boebel, 25, of Winona was arrested for fifth-degree domestic assault for slapping a woman inside the residence.
Wednesday

10:02 p.m. — An officer observed a vehicle driven by Lawrence Frank Gora, 48, of Winona stop at a red light near Sixth and Franklin streets then proceed through the intersection before the light turned green. The officer pulled Gora over and administered a field sobriety test. Gora failed the test and later

registered a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.12 percent. He was cited for third-degree driving while intoxicated, running a red light and no proof of insurance.

Friday

1:08 p.m. — Police responded to a call of shoplifting at Fleet Farm, 920 Highway 61 E., and cited Jennifer Ann Reeves, 27, of Winona for shoplifting. She tried to leave the store without paying for $28.73 worth of fishing line, catfish bait and other fishing supplies.

2:00 p.m. — Police responded to the 400 block of West Fifth Street on a call of a domestic dispute. Officers arrested Mathew Worrell, 29, of Winona for fifth-degree domestic assault. The victim said he punched her in the back of the head and threw her against a kitchen wall.

7:00 p.m. — Police responded to the 200 block of West Sixth Street on a call of a domestic dispute. Officers arrested Patrick Julius Walker, 19, of Winona for fifth-degree domestic assault. The victim, who is pregnant, said he struck her in the mouth, splitting her lip.
