July 10
12:56 a.m. — Police issued a ticket for underage drinking to Patrick Robert Davis, 20, of Winona after people reported he broke five window panes at the entrance to an apartment building in the 700 block of Center Street. Davis was not cited for damage to property because he agreed to pay for the damages, and the owners of the building failed to notify police about a damage estimate.
Friday
1:57 p.m. — An Xbox video game system was reported stolen from a residence in the 350 block of Mankato Avenue. The reporting party did not wish to speak with an officer.
Monday
7:36 a.m. — A 2007 Buick Lacrosse driven by Louise Anne Haun, 81, of Winona struck Daniel James Debroux, 41, of Winona, who was riding a bicycle at the intersection of Wabasha and Center streets. Debroux was westbound on Wabasha and did not stop for a stop sign. The sun was in Haun’s eyes as she turned left onto Center Street and struck Debroux, who suffered a broken collarbone and was transported to Community Memorial Hospital. Haun was not injured. No tickets were issued in the crash.
3:43 p.m. — A woman was giving $10 to a friend in the parking lot of J.C. Penney on West Service Drive when a 16-year-old Winona boy approached and grabbed about $250 cash out of the woman’s hand and ran away. The victim told police she knew who he was and officers mailed him a citation for misdemeanor theft.
Tuesday
7:30 a.m. — Police received a report of a burglary at in the 1200 block of Gilmore Avenue. The door was left unlocked, and someone stole a black leather wallet, $100 cash, a digital camera and an MP3 player. Police are investigating.

Sunday
1:01 a.m. — A 29-year-old Utica, Minn., woman reported her purse stolen at Brewski’s Bar on Main Street in Utica. She said she left the purse at a table for a short time and returned to find it missing. The purse contained about $40 cash, debit cards and her driver’s license. Police have no suspects.
Monday
10:15 p.m. — Heather Gillund, 31, of Winona got into an argument with her ex-boyfriend as he was dropping off their children at her apartment on County Road 19 near Wilson, Minn. The two yelled at each other, and Gillund grabbed the man’s arm, tearing his sleeve. The man suffered a bruise, and deputies arrested Gillund. She was charged Tuesday with misdemeanor domestic assault.
Tuesday
5:09 p.m. — Someone broke into a locked vehicle in the area of county roads 14 and 29 south of Lewiston and stole a CD player, 30 unused checks and a softball equipment bag containing a glove, bat and cleats. The owner of the vehicle said it was locked but there were no signs of forced entry. Police are investigating.
