SATURDAY
2:30 p.m. — Police charged Brandon Daniel Mickelson, 20, of Winona with misdemeanor theft. Mickelson allegedly tried to shoplift a Wilson racquetball worth $3.29 from Mills Fleet Farm.
4:24 p.m. — Police charged Charles Steven Roskos, 23, of Winona with misdemeanor theft. Roskos allegedly tried to shoplift paintball gun equipment worth $4.99 from Mills Fleet Farm.
11:59 p.m. — Police observed a vehicle with headlights off near Third and Center streets. They pulled the car over and later ticketed the driver, Austynn Joy Fritze, 19, of Winona, for underage drinking. Two passengers received similar citations: Andrew James Norrish, 19, of Mondovi, Wis., and Luke Frank Merritt, 19, of Eau Claire, Wis.
