The Lejetz scored every inning and worked in three pitchers in a 13-3 five-inning romp Wednesday at Caledonia.
Ryan Speltz went 2-for-2 with a double, triple and two RBIs, while Trevor Semann and Adam Lueck each went 2-for-3 to lead the LeJetz.
Jake Walther, Tom Kreidermacher and Lueck combined to hold Caledonia to six hits. Kreidermacher picked up the win with three strikeouts and no walks in two innings.
“We mixed it up a bit to get some rest for the weekend,” Hoeppner said. “Some of the guys who don’t normally get to play as much did a good job stepping up and contributing.”
The LeJetz (6-3) will have today off to rest before opening tournament play Friday against Mahtomedi.
