12:42 p.m. — A man reported that a laptop had been taken from an unlocked apartment in the 400 block of West Sanborn Street between 1 and 4 p.m. Sunday. The computer was a Winona State University-owned Gateway M285-E model.
Tuesday
1:40 a.m. — Police responded to a complaint of a loud party at an apartment in the 300 block of Howard Street. Officers had responded to prior noise complaints at the apartment earlier in the night and could hear loud music two hallways away. Amanuel Lemma Worku, 24, of Winona, was cited for the loud party.
Winona County / Tuesday
5:51 a.m. — Deputies received a report that the Homer Post Office on Old Homer Road had been vandalized. The glass door had been shattered sometime the night before, according to the complaint, and a small hole led the complainant to believe the damage was caused by a pellet gun. There was no estimated cost of repair to the door.
